recently, the main turbines and related accessories for dongfang electric group's ethiopia aysa ⅱ wind power project, undertaken by china logistics, have successfully completed loading operations and officially set sail. the cargo is scheduled to arrive at the port of djibouti by the end of november, and will then be transported by road to the project site in ethiopia.
as ethiopia's current largest wind power project in terms of installed capacity, the aysa wind power project will effectively alleviate the power shortage of the country's hydropower stations during the dry season upon completion. meanwhile, it will provide stable and reliable power support for the addis ababa-djibouti economic corridor, further enhance ethiopia's capacity to export electricity to djibouti, and thereby promote green, low-carbon development and economic prosperity across the entire region.
